BREED STANDARD

• Ears erect
• Dished profile
• Polled animals not allowed (genetic hornlessness)
• Require standard markings - muzzle, forehead, eyes and ears accented in tones lighter than the dark portion of the body in all colours, except those which are SOLID BLACK or WHITE CARAMEL.
• Crown, dorsel stripe and martingale must be dark as well as the front and rear feet and cannons (socks)
• Caramel goats have light vertical stripes on dark socks
• Animals MAY have a white band or part of a band in the barrel area **ALL other patches are seriously faulted but do NOT disqualify the animal
• VERY IMPORTANT - the goats must be between the minimum and maximum height and cannon measurements specified for their age.
